B.Ed. DEGREE COURSE
CURRICULUM  OF  BACHELOR  OF  EDUCATION
(RESTRUCTURED – 2005)

Duration of the course

The B.Ed. Degree course will be of of one academic year comprising of two semesters as per the programme of University of Calicat 
Course of study
Students admitted to the B.Ed course shall undergo a course of study including  practical work in four core subjects and one optional subject as per the structure and scheme of examinations given below.
Medium of Instruction and Examinations     
 The medium of instruction and examination of the course shall be English. However candidates who desire to write the examination in Malayalam may be permitted to write in Malayalam.

1.     Duration of Examination for theory papers of 50 marks shall be of  2 hours.
2.     Required pass minimum of each theory in both semester and in  practicals is essentially 50%.
3.     There is no provision for reappearance of practical examination.
4.     Completion of practicum is essential for appearing in the theory Examination.
5.     No candidate without completion of practice teaching and other Practicals are allowed to attend theory and Practical Examinations conducted by University
